You'll visit a historic Osteria to taste handmade meatballs prepared with time-honored recipes, then settle into a welcoming Trattoria for the star of Veronese cuisine: risotto all'Amarone, infused with the region's prized Valpolicella wine.
The journey continues at an elegant wine bar, where a guided tasting of 3 local wines reveals why this region's winemaking tradition is celebrated worldwide.
Your final stop? An artisanal gelateria for the perfect sweet ending to your morning.

We had the most amazing time on our guided food/walking tour. Ana our guide was so kind, thoughtful, funny, and informative. She mentioned this was her first guided tour, and she is a rock star! We ate some of the best food we had while in Italy on our travels. In between restaurants Ana showed us little hidden gems of Verona that we would not normally have passed by. The tour was an easy walk, with view inclines or stairs. As a bonus, it ends right at the steps to the funicular that takes you to the top for panoramic views of Verona.
Response from the operator · Waystours Thank you, Jackie! We’re so happy you had such a wonderful time exploring Verona with Anna and enjoyed both the food and the little hidden corners she showed you along the way. We’ll definitely share your lovely words with her, especially your “rock star” compliment! 😁

Don’t miss this tour of Verona! Our guide, Ali, did a fantastic job, explaining each part of our guided meal, wine tasting, through the city, using her local knowledge to bring it alive. We certainly tried new dishes and explored areas just off the tourist trail.-excellent value.
Response from the operator · Waystours Thank you, Adam! We’re delighted you enjoyed exploring Verona with Ali and discovering local food, wine and some of the city’s lesser-known corners. It’s wonderful to hear her local knowledge brought the experience to life, and we truly appreciate your recommendation! 😄
