The Great Pyramid of Khufu
The Great Pyramid of Khufu is the largest, tallest, and most intact pyramid in Egypt.
It was one of the "Seven Wonders of the Ancient World" and remains the only one still standing.
For 4,300 years, it was the tallest building on Earth until the Eiffel Tower was constructed in 1889.
This architectural masterpiece is built entirely of limestone, comprising approximately 1.3 million blocks, each weighing between 2.5 and 15 tons.
Its square base covers 13 acres, with sides measuring about 230m (755ft) and facing the four cardinal points precisely, at an angle of 52 degrees.

Pyramid Complex of Khafre
Khafre's Pyramid, the second largest, is identifiable by the remaining casing stones near its summit.
Its location on higher ground gives the illusion of being taller than the Great Pyramid.
This optical illusion is due to its height of 136m (446 ft) and sides of 214.5m (704ft).
It covers a surface area of 11 acres with an angle of 53 degrees.
Originally 143.5m (471ft) tall, it has lost some height over the years.

Pyramid Complex of Menkaure
Menkaure's Pyramid, built by Khafre's son, is the smallest of the three main pyramids on the Giza Plateau.
It stands at 62m (203ft) tall (originally 65.5m or 215ft), with sides of 105m (344ft) and an angle of 51.3 degrees.
It is believed this pyramid was enlarged during its construction.
The original design featured a simple descending corridor and burial chamber, but modifications added new corridors with portcullises and chambers.
A lower-level burial chamber and storeroom were later added. Like its neighbors, its entrance faces north.

The Great Sphinx
The Great Sphinx, known by the ancients as "Shesep Ankh" or "the living image," is an iconic symbol of Egypt.
Carved from soft sandstone, it is thought to have survived due to being buried in sand for extended periods.
The Sphinx has a body 60m (200ft) long and 20m (65ft) tall.
Its face is 4m (13ft) wide, with eyes measuring 2m (6ft) high.
Facing the rising sun, it was so revered that a temple was built in front of it.
