Grant will be there to welcome you as you arrive on Waiheke Island.
Following a brief stop in Oneroa Village, we'll drive to the northern coast for breathtaking views. We'll travel along roads lined with beautiful native bush, overlooking the sparkling blue water as we head towards your first Waiheke winery.
We steer clear of the heavily trafficked tour routes, opting instead for the back roads.
Our focus is on family-owned wineries where the owners are genuine, passionate Waihekeans, dedicated to their craft. The wine produced is exceptional, made from hand-picked grapes from the surrounding sustainable vineyards.
These winemakers are our friends. Each has a distinct approach to winemaking, and our guests frequently praise the relaxed pace of the tour and the pleasant contrast between the boutique wineries.
You'll feel like part of the local scene and absorb the palpable energy of this remarkable, living island.
You will have the opportunity to taste up to 15 premium, handcrafted Waiheke wines, with excellent lunch choices available, and truly get 'Waihekefied'!
The eastern side of the island truly showcases Waiheke's natural beauty, with native trees and birds abundant everywhere. Larger tours rarely venture this far, and we often have the finest small wineries all to ourselves. Cheers!!

This was a fun experience...
Craig_C, July 2026
This was a fun experience to a little-known gem just off the coast of Auckland, and a fun recount of its history by our knowledgable guide. A fun boat ride, followed by our guide picking us up at the dock and taking us to three great wineries, dispensing Waiheke history along the way. Fun times, great company, good drinks and good food at our last stop. A great day in the sun.
Response from the operator · Grant K Awesome, thanks for your very kind words Craig. I am so happy you enjoyed your day in paradise. I hope to see you again. Cheers, Grant

Great to experience little, more off the beaten track wineries. Our guide Grant was a knowledgeable local who gave a brief history of the island and it's wineries. Wines were excellent and different (in a good way) and a fantastic lunch. A small group (there was five of us) meant we chatted more than perhaps we would've done in a larger tour which also added to the experience which was nice.
Response from the operator · Grant K Thanks James. Nicely put.
