Your adventure commences as a welcoming guide greets you at the designated meeting spot. You'll join a small group, limited to a maximum of 11 travelers, aboard a comfortable minibus. We'll head south out of the city, tracing the coastline along Botany Bay and venturing through the Royal National Park. Our initial stop is Bald Hill Lookout, a renowned site for hang gliders and paragliders, offering expansive views of the Illawarra coastline and the celebrated Sea Cliff Bridge. A brief drive of just a few minutes brings us to the Symbio Wildlife Park, a family-run establishment actively involved in koala conservation. Here, you'll gain fascinating insights into these unique marsupials during a private koala experience alongside a keeper. Capture the ultimate selfie with a koala! You'll also have the opportunity to hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies and get up close with other native Australian animals. Next, we'll meander along the Grand Pacific Drive, crossing the Sea Cliff Bridge as it gracefully arcs over the ocean, safely away from the crumbling cliffs where the old highway once clung. We'll continue to follow the picturesque coastline to a beautiful beach, where you'll enjoy lunch at a local favorite café with stunning ocean views. If the weather is fine, bring your swimwear for a refreshing dip! In the afternoon, we'll journey inland, ascending through temperate rainforest into the Southern Highlands. An easy hike will lead us to viewpoints offering breathtaking perspectives of the spectacular sandstone gorges and towering waterfalls within Morton National Park. Finally, we'll navigate country roads to a charming boutique winery for a tasting of locally produced, cool-climate wines before commencing our return journey to Sydney. We anticipate arriving back at Circular Quay around 6:30 PM.

One day to see it all

Wonderful wildlife, whales, waterfalls and wines!
286rochelleh, October 2026
It was a wonderful day. I was uncertain about it as I booked it in the last minute, it was expensive, and I feared it would repeat some of what we had done and seen the day before. But it truly was an entirely different experience except for the repeat visit to Fitzroy falls, but even that was different because our guide knew so much about the flora and fauna. Seeing koalas, kangaroos and wallabies up close and personal was delightful. Lunch was delicious and the wines were lovely. And breaching whales were added at no extra charge!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback! Spotting breaching whales is definitely not something our guests get to experience every day, so we are absolutely thrilled that nature put on such a special show for you! We're also so glad that our guide was able to bring the day to life and make it a memorable journey. Thank you again for joining us, and we hope to see you back on another adventure in the future! Cheers, from all of the team @WildlifeWaterfallsWine.com

Great day trip out of Sydney
renitapersaud, September 2026
Our guide, the other Steve, is fantastic. Very knowledgeable and patient. The number of sights this tour covers in a single day makes it very efficient. And it includes a full lunch, as well as generous snacks for the wine tasting. It is an excellent value for a great day out of Sydney.

We’re always happy when guests feel they’ve made the most of their time in Sydney. There’s a lot to fit into a day, and finding that balance between seeing plenty while still having time to enjoy each stop is something we care about. It’s great to know the experience felt like such good value. Thanks for joining us! Cheers, from all of the team @WildlifeWaterfallsWine.com

Hands on Wildlife & Stunning Views
ppr2322, August 2026
Nice to have early exclusive access to Symbio wildlife park, which was a highlight of our trip to have a close encounter with a koala, kangaroos and wallabies. Fantastic tour with Tony. He was knowledgeable, friendly, intelligent, kind and attentive. His calming presence made the tour relaxing and feel like a vacation. Learned extensively about the region, flora, birds, fascinating history snippets and current events. Tasty lunch ocean side was a nice touch, as were the picturesque stops/look out points. Impressive waterfall/mountain views, and relaxing wine tasting and nosh to wrap up the trip. Highly recommend, especially if Tony is guiding.

Hi, We love that you described the day as feeling like a vacation—that’s such a wonderful compliment. 😊 A big part of what makes this tour special is having time to slow down, enjoy the journey and discover the region beyond the usual Sydney sights. And that early access to Symbio is certainly a memorable way to begin! We’re so glad the day was such a highlight of your trip. Cheers, from all of the team @WildlifeWaterfallsWine.com
