Meet your captain and first mate at Pier 39 for check-in and boarding onto the Privateer, a beautiful 28-passenger, double-masted sailboat.
Once everyone is settled, you'll motor out of the docks and into the Bay. As you reach open water, the captain will raise the sails!
Sail past Alcatraz and Angel Island, enjoying excellent views of both and the Bay Bridge. Witness the sun illuminate the green landscapes of Marin and the charming city of Sausalito.
Cruise parallel to the Golden Gate Bridge, offering fantastic opportunities for sunset photos.
As you return to Pier 39, observe the San Francisco waterfront coming alive with sparkling lights.

Directions: Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Late arrivals may miss the boat as it does not wait. Proceed to the Pier 39 Dock F gate and await the First Mate. Dock F is on the east side of Pier 39, the same side as the Aquarium of the Bay. Walk towards the water between the Aquarium and Hard Rock Cafe until you reach Dock F.

Relaxing and breathtaking views of the city from the water. We lucked out as it was a clear sky and the sunset was perfect. We sailed under the Golden Gate Bridge, passed by Alcatraz, and saw Bay Bridge across the way. Sail boat a little dated but crew were excellent and attentive. No music in background, no narration, just the lulling sounds of the water and the city. This excursion is weather dependent. Must bring layers. Crew provided blankets to those who got cold. Highly recommend .

My mom and I had a great time! The sailing was great and we got to see all that was promised. Couldn’t have had any better weather. The captain and first mate were great and everything was on time. Limited beer and wine selection that was in a cooler but served to us. Overall very nice experience with an experienced team. We felt safe the entire trip.
