superb from start to finish - excellent and spacious boat with plenty of room above and below. Very pleasant crew members with a good sense of humour and excellent skills in delivering information and knowledge across a variety of languages. First class buffet food provision with all tastes catered for and a plentiful supply laid out. Endless supply of wine and beer, small glasses provided, and a DJ on board for return leg with music to suit tastes both young and old participating in dancing on top deck if desired. A really enjoyable 4 hour trip with gorgeous weather that obviously helped across the stunning Algarve coastline. To my mind excellent value for money and would do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks to all the crew.
Not sure about the pricing from GetYourGuide it appears to be misleading from what you actually have to pay when booking i.e. it looks as if 3 people should cost £42x3 from the price that is advertised but I ended up paying £142

No care for passenger safety

Very disappointing experience. During the trip the sea became extremely rough and the catamaran was moving so violently that my pregnant partner could not safely stand. Passengers were being thrown around by the movement and other passengers also decided to leave the tour.
There was nothing on our booking warning that the experience was unsuitable for pregnant passengers. We had fully intended to complete the trip, but the conditions reached a point where we did not feel it was safe for my partner to continue.
All three of us therefore had to get off early. We were dropped at a port around 40 minutes from where the tour started and had to arrange and pay for a taxi back ourselves.
What has made the experience particularly disappointing is the response afterwards. We requested a refund and explained the circumstances in detail. The request was refused, we asked for it to be reviewed again, and Viator ultimately refused to provide any refund at all.
I appreciate that sea conditions can change and are outside anyone's control, but I do not think passengers should be left paying the full price when conditions become so severe that they cannot safely complete the experience, particularly when no pregnancy warning was provided beforehand.

The experience is very good, the catamaran, the visit, the brunch, but what left us stunned is that we were supposed to have a guide in Spanish and they only spoke in English; after complaining to the guide, he told us a few things in Spanish but very little compared to what he spoke to the foreigners. The brunch exceeded our expectations; you practically spend the whole trip there and back snacking and drinking. The views of the coast were wonderful, it's a shame we didn't understand everything the guide was saying.
