2 Bayon Temple
As we continue our tour, our path will lead us to the majestic South Gate of Angkor Thom. Within its grand expanse lies the renowned Bayon and Baphuon temples, a splendid assembly of 54 towers adorned with 216 serene faces of the divine Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara.
Throughout the visit, our knowledgeable tour guide will share the rich historical tapestry of the Angkor Temples and the illustrious Khmer empire, expertly illuminating the intricate architectural masterpieces that grace the Angkor landscape.
After this, we will have lunch, and your vehicle will drive past both the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King, known as the royal viewing platform and the stage of the king’s great audience hall.

3 Ta Prohm Temple
Next, we will visit Ta Prohm Temple, known as the “jungle temple” or “tree temple,” referring to the lush trees surrounding the temple’s stones. The gigantic roots of the trees embracing the ruins have made it one of Angkor’s most popular temples.

This was a highlight of our Cambodia trip. Our guide, Sen, was knowledgable, personable and looked after his family on tour. He got us there first so we had the best view of the sunrise, let us explore but showed details we would have missed. Early early start but worth it. Oh and air con bus is not to be underrated as a selling point.

We had an excellent time on this tour! The communication was great, we were picked up from our hotel on time and the tour ended on time.
We saw all the major temples. Our guide Indiana Jones (Chanthy), was knowledgeable, patient and funny. He offered to take plenty of pictures for us. It was a very hot and humid day and getting a cool face wipe and cold water after each temple tour was wonderful. There were adequate stops in between for nature breaks and lunch as well.
Thank you Indiana Jones and James Bond (driver)! We would do this again!
