For hotels located over 12km away, transport is exclusively offered on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at the 10 AM shuttle time. Pickup is included.

Discover Carlisle Bay, situated on the southwestern coast of Barbados, known for its calm waters ideal for swimming.

This bay is also a prime location for snorkeling due to its six shipwrecks.

While exploring these tranquil waters, you might encounter marine life such as rock lobsters, turtles, and various fish.

Your Turtle and Shipwreck Cruise lasts for 90 minutes.

The cruise commences from The Careenage in Bridgetown.

Our route leads to Carlisle Bay, widely regarded as one of the world's most beautiful beaches.

On most days, Carlisle Bay offers calm, turquoise waters with no undertow, gently meeting the soft white sand.

This bay attracts both locals and tourists with its stunning above-water beauty and its thriving marine park, popular with scuba divers and snorkelers.

Beneath the sea's surface, Carlisle Bay teems with an abundance of vibrant tropical fish, seahorses, sea turtles, octopuses, rays, and more.

This rich marine biodiversity is partly due to the six shipwrecks located in the water, some as shallow as 12 feet.

These sunken vessels are a significant draw for visitors to Carlisle Bay, offering an adventurous glimpse into underwater history.

How to prepare for your experience

Book transportation in advance if needed.

Arrive at the check-in location at least 20 minutes before departure.

Complete the online liability waiver before boarding to save time.

Bring a towel and a change of clothes.

Consider motion sickness medication if you are prone to it.

Ensure you are comfortable in the water as non-swimmers cannot participate in snorkeling.

Practical information

This activity is not advised for individuals with spinal injuries.

Participants should possess a moderate level of physical fitness.

A minimum of two adults is required for this tour to operate.

This excursion is not suitable for cruise ship passengers. Please search for our cruise port departure option, which is specifically designed for cruise ship passengers.

If booking with transportation and not staying at a hotel, please provide your villa or accommodation's name and location. We will confirm pickup availability or suggest the nearest point.

Motion Sickness & Vehicle Cleaning Policy: If you are prone to motion sickness, we recommend taking precautions and informing your guide. Be aware that some island roads can be winding and bumpy. While we aim for your comfort, we must also consider other guests and vehicle cleanliness. Should vomiting occur, the responsible guest will be required to cover the professional cleaning costs before the tour concludes.

This activity is not suitable for non-swimmers.

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

This tour is not recommended for individuals experiencing difficulty walking or those with weakness in their arms or legs.
