Don’t buy until day of the trip!
jenniferrT8908MA, October 2026
We bought this tour months ahead of time. The day of the booking was foggy and raining. I asked if it was still a go and they said yes. They should’ve offered an optional refund. I wasted 4 hours of my day looking at fog on a boat. It was awful. The only thing I can say is the speaker was telling us what we could see outside the window but it was just fog. She was enthusiastic. So I guess there is that. People were sleeping in the boat out of pure boredom.
Also, they said to meet in the fish market . We got there waiting in the rain only to see people getting on a boat. No signs. Nobody to tell you where to go. Window seating was mostly taken once we figured it out. Miserable day. I know the weather isn’t their fault but they should’ve offered a refund as an option.
So, my advice. Don’t buy tickets until the day of the tour to see if it’s worth it with the weather that way you aren’t throwing money and time away like we did.

The boat ride was very interesting and the guide we had was very good at telling us the history of the area. His English was very good.

Beautiful fjord views,...

Beautiful fjord views, knowledgeable guide. Learned a lot about history between Norway, Denmark, and Sweden. Lucky to have a fairly clear day to travel on to get clear views of the harbour and fjords.
