So much fun

Our guide (Teria) made the experience awesome! Extremely knowledgeable, proud of his culture and kind. Not to mention crazy talented. He could sing and play the ukulele so beautifully. Loved getting some history and gorgeous views of the island. We can’t wait to come back!
Would highly recommend this excursion, great value and a lot of fun.

That it is very very bumpy! I don’t have back or neck issues but if anyone has any differently don’t take this tour! The views are amazing! Also wear good hiking shoes! We didn’t know we were going to be doing this and you don’t want sandals on!

There are approx. 5 stops, one of which is the public beach, which is only interesting for guests from the resorts. But our guide serenaded us there with a ukulele, which was really great. The last stop was more like a sales event - we were shown how to dye cloths there, which was also interesting, but it only lasted 2 minutes. All in all, however, it was a really interesting tour and the guide was really great.

Very sad to have to write this review

Let me preface this review that my wife and I have been on hundreds of Viator excursions and all were great except this one. Two reasons: first it was boring, we drove up three different steep roads a couple hundred meters each and took in the view. This would be ok for the first but they were all the same. The guide truly makes this type of experience and ours was more comfortable speaking French with the two French speakers. The rest of us (7) got very little explanations. The highlight was to be viewing American artillery guns from WWII. We had to hike pretty far down a path to get to them and frankly not that impressive. Second and more important was safety. The drivers door did not close. He held it closed with his arm. We were traveling up and down steep narrow roads with lots of rocks. If he fell out or was shifted out toward the door he would’ve pulled the steering wheel and we would be off the cliff, same on the roads. He wasn’t wearing a seatbelt either, which would’ve helped in an emergency. We were all sitting in the bed of the truck. I was happy the 3 hours were up and to be dropped off.
