Excellent coffee tour.
JWSimon, September 2026
On our first day in Antigua, the decision to do the coffee and gastronomic bike tour was a success. Our guide, Diego, was perfect for our visit to Finca La Azotea, a beautiful and special place. Diego shared a lot of information about the planting, harvesting, and processing of the coffee. Also, there is an exceptional chocolate shop (the chapín truffle). Afterward, we stopped by a market in San Felipe de Jesús. The bicycles are in very good condition. Highly recommended.

A must do for half a day.

A spontaneous decision and we did this tour. Diego was our bike and tour guide and was the best! He knows all there is to know about the coffee processes and plantations. We saw the whole process from seed to coffee cup! Then a tour around. A local town - food and drinks all included. 4 hours well spent.

Very fun tour!

Diego was a great guide! Learned a ton about coffee and enjoyed the food portion as well. I felt like I received an authentic experience of Guatemalan life. I would not recommend for those with limited mobility or older individuals as the biking can be quite fast. Would suggest slower routes and helmets to be included as riding on the busy streets can be dangerous in some situations.

Very fun and educational bike ride

It was a very well organized bike ride where you learn a lot about coffee, Guatemala and the culture. Diego is a very enthusiastic guide, who speaks his languages well. Excellent english a also a little Dutch and Italian (the composition of our group). After the bumpy roads of Antigua, you cycle quietly over the coffee plantation. And then Diego leads you through some villages with the bicycle hose, where you can taste lunch and dessert. Highly recommended!
