Very enjoyable and informative tour
Kyle_H, October 2026
We really enjoyed our tour to Chacchoben, safe and smooth driving by Daniel and fascinating information imparted by Octavio really made this a tour worth doing. The ruins were really interesting, much less commercial than Chichen Itza, more interactive, and several monkeys were playing around the in the trees of the area, for an extra bit of fun.
I'd recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in Mayan history.

Nice guy, little information
Getaway20357187008, October 2026
We found it difficult to find the meeting "hut" from the ship. The van was very uncomfortable with minimal A/C. The tour guide JC was a very nice man but provided little enthusiasm and seemingly less information then other guides we came across in Chacchoben. It was difficult to here his presentation over the van noise and a tablet for his photo show would have been better then his phone.

First Solo Trip

This was a good experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable of the Maya culture. We even stopped for pineapple that was delicious. The only thing I wish is that there would be more to do. The drive from the cruise port was long.
