Great day out with lovely guides

Abdul, our host, was very communicative from the start. Picked us up promptly in a private car with snacks and drinks at no extra cost. Unfortunately, due to poor weather and storms, we weren’t able to take a coach to Cairo and were instead given a mini bus. This was my only negative for the trip. We had little room to move, and I didn’t catch any sleep. The journey was also supposed to take only 5 hours but ended up being 8 hours (with a few long stops at service stations). Once we arrived in Cairo, it was only positives from here. Our lovely guide (said to call her hanna) was so knowledgable, patient and kind. A gentleman who I think was called Kyrie was also with us and he took some amazing photos, he said he really likes photography and I would recommend letting him take some shots for you, as he’s dedicated to getting great photos. We tipped both of them for their amazing help. After the Nile river trip, the pyramids, sphinx, lunch (which was an authentic buffet), we went to the perfume shop, then the grand museum and finally to a spices shop. We then began the long drive back home which again, was pretty uncomfortable and long. Overall, very good value for money and Abdul was apologetic for the issues with travel. We had a great time (although I’ve never felt so tired in my life). I would recommend anyone that is uncomfortable in tight spaces to think twice and maybe just confirm with Abdul what method of driving you’ll take, as again, the trip from long beach resort to Cairo almost had me and my partner ready to take an uber back to the resort! Try and take out some cash if you can, as toilets in the service stations require cash and a lot of the shops in Cairo and around the museum only take cash.

Both Ahmed our driver and Mamdouh our guide were knowledgeable and passionate throughout my family’s experience when visiting the pyramids. Our journey was made as comfortable as we could as our car had air con, WiFi, TV and we were provided with refreshments throughout the day all free of charge. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend, thank you Ahmed and Mamdouh for making our experience something we will never forget.

We undertook this trip to Cairo in June and are completely satisfied. Despite oversleeping, we were picked up on time. Ahmed personally took us to Cairo, and everything went smoothly. We arrived on time and felt very well taken care of throughout the entire journey. Ahmed put in a lot of effort, was always friendly, and took excellent care of our well-being. Would recommend. I booked the big bus but was collected by mini bus which disappointed me at first as it is long journey. But the day couldn't have turned out better. The driver was grate, plenti of drink and snacks on board . And mini bus was very clean. We got there faster then other tour busses. It felt private and personal. Lovely guide Shruk was amazing and so knowledgeable. She made our day unforgettable. They do their best to help and please. well recommend and grate experience.
