Authentic sampling of local fare

This tour does not disappoint. Our guide was entertaining and very informative about her culture, people and their food. Everything revolves around rice! It is a mix of street food and local restaurants . It was all delicious.

Lots of variety, amazing guide

So glad we did this tour, Ella showed us amazing spots and introduced us new local foods. The portions served were quite small , meaning that we were able to get around 10 different types of food without getting too full. Ella herself was also hilarious and charming and taught us a lot about Vietnamese history, culture and language. Would recommend again 100%

Paxton was a great guide! He showed us around the city tasting and trying various dishes. He was very interested and we had great conversations. Highly recommend when new in Hanoi and wanting to try some real Viatnamees food!!!

Disgusted and horrified
sosalimh, October 2026
Ella is a terrible host who has no compassion for the poor Palestinians being murdered and has clearly stated she doesn’t care as long as she “makes the money, I don’t care where they are from”. She hosted over 9 former IDF soldiers and kept repeating SHALOM which was extremely offensive given this means Peace, health and longevity to the Israeli murderers. Do not do this tour if you have any integrity or agree wick human and social justice. Her food tasted like crap and her service was even worse. Ella claimed she knew mother about the war stated by the Israelis who are committing genocide. Ella’s response. “I don’t care as long as the money come in”
DO NOT JOIN THIS TOUR. I LEFT 20 minutes into the tour as I refuse to dine with baby murderers and ELLA still charged me!! The most horrific experience I have ever had!!!
