Continue from Medicine Lake to the beautiful Maligne Lake, where you will board a comfortable, enclosed boat with large windows for a scenic 90-minute cruise to Spirit Island. Your boat will make a stop at Spirit Island, a small, iconic islet on the lake, offering time for photos and a brief stroll.

Please be aware that Spirit Island is only accessible by water. To visit Spirit Island, you must choose the Boat Cruise option; the Guided Hike does not include this destination.

Incredible Views and Experience

This tour had about a dozen or so people which made for a really personalized experience. We learned a lot about the history and landscape of the area and also saw a good bit of wildlife as well! Our guide was Neil and he was quite knowledgeable about the area in every aspect. He was also very personable and even made sure a lost group of tourists at one of our stops got them back on the right track. We had a good number of stops before Lake Maligne, but the boat trip to Spirit Island is the Main Event. The views on the lake were stunning and the boat tour guide and driver were funny and informative. On the way back Neil snuck in another stop at Medicine Lake so we could get pictures with better lighting than we had in the morning. At the end of the trip Neil gave us a tour of Jasper along with recommendations about where to go and what to do, and we really appreciated the local expertise and insight. This tour company is not reading a script. Great trip, don't pass it up.

This was a fantastic tour, and Kevin was an incredible guide! He shared so many interesting stories, and his local knowledge gave everything a personal touch. We could have sat and listened to him talk all day! The absolute highlight of the tour was seeing a male moose casually wandering down the road near Maligne Lake. What an unforgettable experience! We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.
