Only 15 Minutes Time on Spirit Island for Photography
Marc_F, October 2026
I was disappointed that we only had a total of 15 minutes to do photography on Spirit Island and only on the boardwalk and short shoreline. The balance of the trip was the boat ride to and from the island.

A Must-do when in Jasper
CPSH, October 2026
Definitely book a Maligne Lake Cruise to Spirit Island! The scenery is stunning, especially once you get out to the Hall of the Gods and Spirit Island. You’re surrounded by craggy snow- capped peaks and you get a few minutes to get off the boat for some great photos ops. The guide on our cruise was personable, funny, and full of great info about Maligne Lake.

True nature
Evelyn_S, October 2026
Jasper Park gets pristine while on the boat trip on Maligne Lake. A chance to witness nature at its purest. Although we have taken this trip many times, it was a special time on our 61st anniversary.
