Our tour concludes with a 30-minute guided visit to the Convent of San Francisco and its Catacombs. Explore some of the city's oldest underground cemeteries.

This is a blend of a driving and walking tour. Juan gave lots of info about Lima as the driver handled the traffic. I enjoyed the stop at Parc d'Amore. I would have liked a bit more time there as the ocean was beautiful! The historic district was lovely. The catacombs visit was enlightening! We sampled 4 different types of pisco sour recipes. My guide was patient and waited for me while I battled traffic. She spoke English very well and provided a lot of information on the buildings and historic structures we saw. We even saw the changing of the guards. The highlight was the catacombs under the St. Francis Church. The church itself was beautiful and the catacombs underneath was eerie.
