The Memphis Riverboat is situated at the bottom of a 35% incline covered with historic cobblestones. Due to the nature of the cobblestones, direct vehicle access to the boat dock is restricted; guests will be dropped off and picked up from Riverside Drive.
Several parking options are available within a few blocks. The closest parking garage is at 149 Peabody Place, between Second Street and BB King Blvd., adjacent to the Hampton Inn. On-street metered parking may also be available on Second Street south of Beale, on Beale between Front and Second Streets, or along Peabody Place from Front to Fourth Street.
This tour is not recommended for individuals with mobility challenges.

John collected our tickets and began the opening leg of the tour. His knowledge of Memphis history is phenomenal, his passion and enthusiasm is Oscar-winning and his personality is endearing!! We loved it!! Princess our driver was a princess!! The Civil Rights Museum was amazing!!! The riverboat ride felt like icing on the cake. Great tour!!!

What a fantastic morning tour with our excellent 5* guide, John and driver, Princess! He was so knowledgeable and entertaining in equal measure. Thoroughly engaging and we learned such a lot on our first morning in Memphis. Thank you - a really memorable experience. We booked to visit the Civil Rights museum as part of this tour…very moving and well curated displays - unmissable and would thoroughly recommend. The riverboat trip was interesting, but our enjoyment was marred considerably by other passengers who talked throughout the commentary making it hard for us to hear.
