Whales in the far distance and a short stop at Mendenhall Glacier Park.
James_H, October 2026
The whale watching was disappointing because the whales were so far away. The crew did explain that by law they have to stay 100 yards away from the whales but every whale was much farther than that. Mendenhall Glacier Park was beautiful. The stop was very short. We would have like to spend at least double the amount of time that we were allotted.

Michelle_B, October 2026
The whale watching was wonderful. We saw seals, whales and porpoises. The visit to Mendenhall glacier was largely self guided but it was great for hiking and enjoying the scenery. The vehicle drivers were great! Gave us lots of tips and information about the area.

14.30 trip
Peter_R, September 2026
Journey to harbour and whale watch was fine and informative, with excellent activity at sea. Dropped off at the Glacier at 17.40, with tbe visitor centre cloding at 18.00. Nothing much else to do but sit uncomfortably in the cold, to await 19.00 coach pick up. Not good!!
