The menu is carefully curated, and the spacious cabins with private balconies offer spectacular views of Lan Ha Bay and the emerald ocean. This 3-day/2-night program allows you to kayak through karst mountains, visit various caves and islands, and swim in the emerald ocean. We are also proud to be the first and only cruise in Vietnam to serve Halal food, with certified ingredients and chefs.

Day 1: HANOI - TUAN CHAU - HALONG BAY - LAN HA BAY Repas : déjeuner, dîner Meals: Lunch, Dinner Overnight in an Ocean Suite Balcony on the luxurious 5-star Mon Chéri Cruise. Day 1, Stop 1 Lan Ha Bay 12 h, entrée incluse 9:00 - 9:30 AM: Guests booking the limousine transfer from Hanoi (additional cost) will be picked up from their hotel in the Old Quarter. Guests not booking the limousine transfer should arrive at the Mon Chéri waiting hall at #3 Got Pier, Cat Hai, Hai Phong by 12:00 PM. 12:30 PM: Embark Mon Chéri Cruises. You'll receive a welcome drink and a cold towel, followed by a cruise briefing and safety instructions before checking into your cabin. We'll set sail, and you can enjoy lunch in the Mon Chéri restaurant while admiring the beauty of the canals on our way to Halong Bay. 3:30 PM: Arrive at Light and Dark Cave for kayaking or a bamboo boat ride with local people. Afterward, return to Mon Chéri Cruises for a swim near the ship. 5:30 PM: Return to Mon Chéri Cruises to witness the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin and enjoy a complimentary sunset party. 6:30 PM: Participate in a cooking demonstration to learn how to make traditional Vietnamese spring rolls. Massage services are available onboard (please book directly with the Cruise Manager). 7:00 PM: A delightful dining experience awaits you. 8:45 PM - 12:00 AM: After dinner, enjoy the bay's nighttime scenery from the top deck, relax with romantic music, have drinks at the bar, try squid fishing, watch a movie, or relax in your room. We have just enjoyed a 2 night cruise on the wonderful Mon Cherie. The boat was beautiful. We chose it as it looked more old school. And it was yet still beautifully maintained. Our cabin was fantastic. Biggest bed I’ve ever seen! Waking up to the view from your balcony is spectacular. The pool area was great. Large enough to fit in a dozen people comfortably. A great place to meet and chat to the other guests. The bar area was fantastic. Lots of comfy chairs and games to play. The sunset up there is just perfect. Cocktails were fantastic and great value. Happy hour 2 for 1 was great. Around AU$17 for 2 cocktails. The thing that made the cruise was the staff. They were all lovely. The best though - Roy. He just went above and beyond to make sure you were happy and looked after. Whether it be in the restaurant or bar. And he always remembered your name. He’s a credit to the company. Other memorable staff were Elly and Sebastian. Also so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The only negative … the food. We didn’t enjoy dinner. They were very accommodating with the fact I don’t eat seafood but in general the food was average. I think they try too hard to make it fancier than it needs to be. I booked our cruise through Cindy Phuong who was amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Would highly recommend Mon Cherie and ha long bay is just spectacular

This is a great cruise! The bedrooms are clean and spacious. The meals are great. The itinerary is well thought out and manages to fit lots in without feeling too rushed. The staff were fantastic, but Ducky in particular went above and beyond for us and was very professional.

This cruise was incredible. Gorgeous setting, incredible excursions, marvelous food. My wife and I loved every minute of it. The ship was impeccable, the room was luxurious and the views were extraordinary. The staff were so attentive and kind and the excursions were incredibly well organized and fascinating. Three staff members stand out. Roy, who introduced himself as our butler was impeccable. He takes great pride in his work and he was always present and yet invisible. He even wore white gloves when he was serving the incredible food in the dining room. Lucy was exceptionally good at her job choreographing the excursions to the caves and Y was so much fun on the day boat as he took us to the oyster farm and the village on Cat Ba island. He even lead the charge in jumping from the second deck into a pristine bay for a swim on day two. Relaxing, beautiful, fun adventure. Highly recommend this cruise.
