To conclude our efforts, we'll gather around the table for a shared meal, filled with food, drinks, stories, laughter, love, and of course, mezcal.
We look forward to connecting with you through the flavors of food, one of our culture's most ancient traditions.

Unforgettable

I don’t really feel like writing this review and just gatekeeping amazing experience that is a must do in Oaxaca, but I guess I’ll share Chef Adhey with you all. From the start to finish, the cooking experience makes you feel you are at home with family. The price is worth the experience. This was our last experience before heading back home after a week in Oaxaca, and definitely “saving the best for last”. We had a party of 4 people in total. 6 if you count Chef Adhey and her awesome down to earth husband Enrique. The atmosphere absolutely screams “welcome to my home in Oaxaca and get ready to cook and eat”. Till next time Adhey and Enrique. Thank you for having us over.

Delicious food with a side of culture!

We had an amazing experience learning how to make the recipes of Adhey's abuelita. From the hot chocolate and bread to start to the chile relleno, we leaned about the cuisine, the culture and their family. The experience and the meal at the end were amazing! Thank you!

A MUST DO experience!

A must do if you want to learn about traditional Oaxacan cuisine! Chef Adhey is so cordial and welcomes you to her kitchen, culture, and family. The meals are cooked together from scratch, and Chef Adhey is so gracious to meeting any dietary concerns (vegan, gluten free, etc). You cook together, learn about Oaxacan culture, listen to music, and then enjoy a glorious meal together. I rate this experience 10/10! So fun and memorable 💖

Laughter, Family and Food - Oaxacan Style
heidimZ8385JU, October 2026
Chef Adhey and Enrique generously shared the spirit of Oaxaca and of being part of an indigenous Oaxacan family with us through the language of food.
We laughed and worked together with Adhey to use simple ingredients and new cooking techniques to make a flavorful and delicious Oaxacan meal (that we can actually replicate back home in our kitchen).
Our afternoon with this incredible couple was a top highlight of our time in Mexico.
