Fabulous experience. Our crew, Connor, Kennedy and Logan were excellent. Very welcoming, helpful and full of great information. We saw lots of humpback whales, sea lions, eagles, loons and even a sea otter as we were arriving back at the dock. I highly recommend this tour to anyone at all interested!

Prince of Whales Half Day Whale watching 10/10!!!!

WOW!!! The crew were knowledgeable and very friendly. Captain Connor knew exactly where to go so we saw Humpbacks, Sea Lions, seals, bald Eagles and Orcas! Kennedy took amazing pics of all the marine life which were MUCH better than I could take 😊. Logan.. our guide … was amazing. Full information about all the different types of Orcas and all the different family units, history of whales in the area etc. He was very friendly and was happy to answer any questions the tour guests had!

Fantastic trip with lots of wildlife and a fantastic crew!

We had a wonderful cruise on the Prince of Wales. First sailed a long way away because orcas might have been sighted. We were lucky that there were not 1 but 2 pods with orcas. Connor swam fantastically and even the family members who were prone to seasickness were not affected. Kennedy and Briar gave a lot of explanation about marine life on the way and gave a lot of information about what you had to look for or pay attention to, including a large group of dolphins coming towards us from the front. Saw a few bumps at the end so the trip took a little longer than planned, but the whole activity was more than worth it.

Hartelijk dank voor de prachtige recensie! Wat een spannende dag op het water: twee groepen orka’s gespot en dan ook nog eens de extra sensatie van een groep dolfijnen die recht op de boot afkwamen! Dat moet een prachtig schouwspel zijn geweest. Hopelijk waren de majestueuze bultruggen aan het einde van de tocht de extra tijd op het water meer dan waard.

Incredible experience really recommend!! 10/10

What a day! Staff really went above and beyond driving out of their typical radius to ensure we see some orca, we see around 9, staff were able to ID the pods and maintained a great distance, we could also listen to their calls with the device the company put in the water. We also see some humpback whales we were able to spend plenty of time with them, and also a fast pass by of some pacific white sided dolphins. Great views of them, I got some great shots on my camera but even better the staff have a really good camera and they take shots too and send them to the passengers so I’m looking forward to receiving and seeing those, that is a really special thing the company do I’ve not had that before. I didn’t take binoculars and still had great views but if I did it again I’d take some which the company did advise in their email I just forgot but the animals are huge you see a lot without. An incredible day, we drove from Campbell river to telegraph cove for this trip and it was certainly worth the journey!! The staff Briar, Kennedy and captain Connor were wonderful, an asset to the company! They answered all of our questions and constantly kept us updated, they turned the day into something very special because not only did we see orca, we learned more about their pod/family setups so I felt like I knew the orca a little bit more. The staff deeply care for the orca, they take time to ID them and know their individual habits and quirks. Thank you so much for the very special day I will never forget!

Seeing around nine orcas, humpback whales, and a pass-by from a group of Pacific white-sided dolphins made for an unforgettable day on the water. We are especially glad that our team was able to travel outside our typical range to help find the orcas, while maintaining a respectful distance and giving you the opportunity to observe them in their natural environment. Being able to listen to their calls through our hydrophone is always such a special part of the experience too.
It is fantastic to hear that you enjoyed learning about the individual orcas, their family groups, and the importance of identifying and understanding the whales we encounter.
