Oberammergau
As we travel between Linderhof Palace and Hohenschwangau (the village below Neuschwanstein Castle), we will pass through the charming artists' village of Oberammergau.
This village is renowned for its traditional facade paintings (Lüftl-Malerei) and intricate wood carvings.
Oberammergau is also world-famous for its Passion Plays, held every 10 years, which dramatize the final week of Jesus' life.
We will conduct a coach tour through the village, allowing you to see more of its unique character than a brief stop would permit.
