The ship itself is very nice, the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The island tour to Cat Ba was very short, we were disappointed with the lack of free time there to explore, and to look around and spend money at the local businesses. You could see the residents there were wanting our custom, but we had to leave after 20 minutes. The electric car did not stop at any view points in order to take pictures which we would have liked. When i tried to stop at the pier to take a picture of the sunset, a member of staff hurried me along to get onto the boat. The main meals were very well presented, but some were quite bland. The canapés were so disappointing, cucumber, ham & an olive, i could prepare this at home. Would have expected better from a 5 star ship. I also had stains on my linen. We did have a relaxing time, but i would say it wasn’t quite worth the money. The views are unbelievable though!
