Meeting point and return

We pick up participants from every hotel or apartment within a defined area.

Auschwitz tours typically depart between 6 AM and 2 PM, but this schedule can change based on Auschwitz policy. The daily schedule for the following day is confirmed by Auschwitz and communicated to the tour operator.

If you have inflexible plans that might be affected by a tour time change, please inform us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. Flexibility is also appreciated.

Please note that all pickups can take between 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the distance between accommodations and the number of collection points.

The exact pickup time will be communicated the day before the trip, usually around 6 PM. WhatsApp is the preferred communication method for faster responses, but calls or emails can also be used.

It is essential to bring your Passport, ID card, or any valid document with your photograph and name. The Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum requires visitors to present such identification.

You will receive your entry tickets from the driver before the sightseeing begins.

There will be three short breaks (approximately 15 minutes each) during the tour. Due to potential queues at the museum, these breaks may not be sufficient for purchasing items. It is recommended to bring snacks or order a lunch box from the driver, who can arrange this the day before.

This is an open-air museum, and you will spend about 70% of your time outdoors. Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions.

Practical information

Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller.
Specialized infant seats are available.
Suitable for all physical fitness levels.
TRANSPORT: Our transport includes minibuses and minivans. Please inform us in advance if you experience motion sickness or any travel discomfort. Travel duration may vary due to weather and road conditions, potentially causing delays.
VISIT: The Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum receives many visitors daily. Independent touring can be difficult due to the high volume of guests. Visitors must behave respectfully and appropriately on the camp grounds. A smart casual dress code is recommended to honor the site's solemnity. Eating, smoking, and disruptive behavior are prohibited within the Museum premises.
GUIDES: All guides are museum-trained employees. Museum regulations prohibit unauthorized individuals from conducting tours. If a guide fluent in your language is unavailable, interpreters from authorized companies may accompany the museum guide. Our interpreters are knowledgeable about the camps, fluent in English, and conduct tours independently.
PICKUP: Some hotels in Krakow are in areas with traffic restrictions. Pickup will be arranged from the nearest accessible point, and you will be informed of the details.
DEPARTURE: Due to museum regulations, visitor number limits, and high guest volume, scheduled pickup times may be adjusted. Your patience is appreciated. It is advisable not to schedule other engagements on your tour day due to potential rescheduling difficulties. We strive to inform you about the pickup schedule well in advance, typically 3-7 days prior to the tour.
DOCUMENTS: The Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum requires personal information verification; full names for all participants are necessary. You must have your passport or identification card with you, as it may be checked upon entry. Failure to present these documents may result in denied admission.
BAG SIZE: Large bags or backpacks are not permitted inside the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. The maximum size allowed is 30cm x 20cm x 10cm. You can store your bags securely in the vehicle, which will be locked during your visit.
LUNCH: Lunch is not included. There is limited time between visiting Auschwitz I and Birkenau II for a full lunch break, so bringing snacks is recommended. Lunch boxes can be ordered for an additional fee. Vending machines with snacks are available at the parking lot; the restaurant is currently under construction.
SECURITY: Be prepared for airport-style security checks before entering the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum.
WEATHER: Operations continue regardless of weather conditions. You will spend up to 70% of the time outdoors, especially at Auschwitz II-Birkenau. Dress appropriately for the weather and bring water, particularly on sunny days.
CHILDREN: Children must be accompanied by an adult. Infant seats are available. Due to the potentially distressing nature of the visit, visitors should ideally be at least 13 years old.
PICTURES: Photography is generally allowed, with some exceptions clearly marked. Flash photography inside buildings is strictly prohibited.
CONTACT: All tours are confirmed via messaging apps like WhatsApp, Viber, Signal, and Telegram for convenience. If you do not use these apps, confirmation will be sent via email; please check your spam folder.
GROUP: The group size is standard, recommended by the museum, typically ranging from 16 to 30 people.
SELF-GUIDED OPTION: Due to changes in museum entry regulations for unguided groups and an additional checkpoint at Auschwitz II-Birkenau, self-guided tours are suspended. This decision ensures tour quality, especially on busy days.
There is considerable walking involved in the museum. It is not recommended for individuals with mobility issues.

reflective Auschwitz visit
paul_m, October 2026
A lot of walking, around 10,000 steps in total, but well worth it. Our guide was really informative and conveyed the necessary info without sensationalism. I really did not want to go on this trip, it was my partner who wanted to do it, but I am glad that I did. Very sad, but a warning from history.
