This mythical creature, with a lion's body and a human head, was carved from the remnants of a limestone hill used as a quarry for the Cheops pyramid. Enjoy a felucca ride on the Nile. Sharm El Sheikh
Your hotel pickup is scheduled for approximately 4:00 AM. Upon arrival in Cairo, your tour guide will greet you and remain with you throughout the excursion. Meet your Egyptologist guide at the museum to commence your day's exploration. Visit either the state-of-the-art Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), boasting over 100,000 artifacts and recognized as the world's largest archaeological museum, or the historic Ancient Egyptian Museum located in Tahrir Square. Please indicate your museum preference during the booking process. Following your museum visit, a delicious lunch will be served. The next part of your journey will take you to the majestic pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Your pyramid tour concludes at the Great Sphinx and its adjacent temple. If time permits, a visit to the Cairo Bazaar may be included before your return journey to Sharm El Sheikh. Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle.

On your return from Cairo in the late evening, we will allocate time for a visit to either the historic Khan el-Khalili Market, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Old Cairo, or the expansive Cairo Festival City mall. What an amazing experience. The pyramids are fascinating as is the museum. The TV and pictures do not do it justice. We had Abdul who was just awesome. His history knowledge is something else and he was warm, friendly and accommodating and a fab photographer. We have some wonderful pictures of a very special day made better by our host. A must do when visiting Egypt and ask for Abdul as your trip will be amazing from start to finish. Expect to be tired, it's a long day but worth it. One tip would be to get and pay for the correct visa upon arriving in Egypt. Enjoy.

The experience was once in a lifetime! Khaled had lots of knowledge! The Nile ride is not to be missed, we did a horse ride at the pyramids and it made the trip better, lots of time at the pyramids! We even had time to visit the old market although it’s very busy with traffic. Really good day and would recommend!
