Honest review
Tracey_F, October 2026
Driver picked us up (drove too fast and on the phone driving!), driver coming back was good.
On arrival they were trying their hardest to get us to pay more for a two seater buggy but we wanted the quad which we booked.
The quad had no suspension and our whole bodies shook, it was awful. The quad was overheating and was burning our legs. We asked for another one when we stopped which they did change for us but that was only a bit better. Hated every minute on that quad ride (done quads for years and all been fine in other countries). No helmets were offered either.
Camel ride was fun. The entertainment and food was good.
Ride back was in the dark, again was awful.
When we went to go they wouldn’t let you leave without doing a tripadvisor review which they then took a screenshot of, but whilst waiting for everyone to do their review sand mites were climbing up our legs. When we got back to our hotel we had been bitten all down our bottom half of our legs. My husband had been bitten over 150 times (we lost count)!!!!
While I would recommend this I would seriously check the quad you are given, also wear trousers!!!
I don’t like being forced to make a review, felt a bit threatening.
I hope you have a better experience than we did.

Overall experience was...

Overall experience was great. Recommended to take your own headscarf as they charge EGP 250 for a cheap quality one.
Quadbiking was amazing in the desert. Bedoin tea was decent, dinner was decent, grilled chicken with some sides. We didn't get to do Stargazing and see breadmaking due to the weather.

meh

The guides and driver were nice and friendly, but that was kinda it. The quad ride was so short, I thought its 1,5h just on the quad but nothing close to that and the space is crowded with huge amount of different tours and quads, perfect example of mass tourism. Also you have to ride in a single lane pretty slowly the whole time, the buggies behind the quads. People trying to sell you stuff everywhere. The dinner and show was ok, nothing spectacular at all, but not the worst until the animal part came:(. Monkey and parrot on a chain,….. But what broke my heart was the camels. They are forced to bend on their knees every five minutes for a different fat tourist with zero self awareness. There were some that had legs tied together so they can’t really move after they finally finish the work and few also had visible scars from beating. Ofc you can say you don’t want to get on, but the rest of
the tour wasn’t really worthy as well. Think about what you want to support before purchasing please, big wrong step from me.
