Your guide will lead you through the area, perfect for photos and historical insights.
· 25 min

Bantry Bay
Bantry Bay, an affluent suburb nestled at the foot of Lion's Head mountain, is renowned for its wind-free conditions. Enjoying over 250 days of calm weather annually, it offers a welcome respite from Cape Town's typically windy climate.
· Non-stop passage
3
Clifton
Clifton, another luxurious neighborhood, is perched high on the mountainside. Beyond its exclusive real estate, Clifton is celebrated for its exceptional beaches, naturally divided into four sections by granite boulders.
· Non-stop passage
4
Camp's Bay Beach
Experience Camps Bay, often referred to as the 'Beverly Hills' of Cape Town. A short photo stop here offers magnificent views of the Twelve Apostles mountain range.
· 10 min
5
Hout Bay
Located just 15 minutes from Camps Bay, Hout Bay is a picturesque town embraced by mountains and the cool Atlantic Ocean. The roads leading here traverse scenic mountain passes. You'll be greeted by a sign proclaiming 'Welcome to The Republic of Hout Bay!'
· 30 min
6
Duiker Island
A one-hour layover at Hout Bay harbor provides an opportunity for an optional 40-minute boat trip to Duiker Island. This island is home to over 5,000 Cape Fur Seals, which you can observe from the boat. Alternatively, you can explore the craft market or take a short walk to Hout Bay Beach. Please note: This optional excursion may extend the tour duration by an additional hour.
· 1 h· Admission not included
7
Chapman's Peak Drive
As we depart Hout Bay, we'll journey along the world-renowned Chapman's Peak Drive, locally known as 'Chapies'. Cape of Good Hope
Discover the famed 'corner of Africa', where the cold Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. While not the absolute southernmost point, it's the most south-westerly tip of the continent. Hiking trails to the summit offer fantastic activity and sightseeing opportunities. Your guide will present various hiking trail options from this point.
· 30 min
12
Old Cape Point Lighthouse
Ascend to South Africa's third-oldest lighthouse, either by walking or taking the funicular (at your own expense). From here, enjoy panoramic 360-degree views of the national park. The original lighthouse, operational from 1860, was decommissioned after studies revealed its high altitude made it a hazard for sailors in cloudy conditions, leading to numerous shipwrecks. A new, lower-altitude lighthouse was subsequently built.
· 40 min
13
Simon's Town
Explore Simon's Town, another tranquil and affluent coastal town on False Bay. This Victorian-era town is known for its fresh seafood restaurants. You'll have an hour here, potentially for lunch. The guide may opt for lunch at Cape Point depending on the tour's progress.

Great trip in a small group
625heatherd, October 2026
A very good trip. Picked up on time with lots of pick up choices. A small group (there were 9 of us) and a good guide who has a microphone headset so he could tell us interesting facts during the journey. A new minibus with good air conditioning. The trip was well planned - we immediately went to get on a 40 minute boat trip with other groups and went to see the seals. Next we stopped for coffee before continuing to see ostriches and then to the cape of good hope. We saw antelopes and baboons and there was the option of two short hikes, and time for a meal in a restaurant if we wanted. Then after the cape of good hope we went to see the penguins - the highlight of the trip. They are soooooo cute. Then back to Cape Town and a quick showing is key old buildings and then a stop at an area with coloured houses. The only negative was a very annoying other traveller who talked loudly and non stop. But that is not the fault of the tour, and with a small group, the risk of an annoying fellow traveller is minimised, so hopefully future people will not be so unlucky. It was a great trip - do it!

Perfect day with Peter
Climber648201, October 2026
I had a very enjoyable day. Peter is a great guide and driver ( also takes great photos). The entire day ran smoothly from start to finish. Everything was timed perfectly and the places we visited were very interesting. It was a great way to spend a day and see sights that would be difficult to navigate on one’s own. Also, my original flight was canceled and it was very easy to change the date. I had some questions and the company responded very quickly.

Best Tour of the Cape
G4743FEalexanderd, October 2026
We had the best tour of the cape with Candy and Zane. The tour was a full day. We made it all the way down to the Cape of Good Hope where we had an amazing hike and lunch. My favorite stops included a short boat ride to the seal island and a walk along the penguin beach. I learned a lot about the history of Cape Town and South Africa while in the car between stops. Highly recommend this tour.
