About the activity

Embark on a live-guided day excursion to discover the Penguins at Boulders Beach, Cape Point (the romantic meeting place of the Atlantic and Indian oceans), and the Cape of Good Hope. This tour provides over 1 hour at the penguin beach, more than 2 hours at Cape Point to fully explore this UNESCO World Heritage site, and an additional 30 minutes at the Cape of Good Hope. Entry to Cape Point is payable on the day. South African citizens with photo ID or SADC members with passports may be eligible for a discounted entry price. Lunch can be enjoyed en route at your own expense. Alternatively, opt for the optional guided hike from Cape Point to the Cape of Good Hope (approximately 40 minutes, requiring moderate fitness and good walking shoes). After a day of exploration, relax on your seat and enjoy the scenic coastal drive back to Cape Town via Scarborough and Kommetjie, with spectacular views from the Ou Kaapse Weg mountain pass. I had an amazing time exploring Cape of good hope. At the boulders beach, I had hoped to be closer to the penguins. In regard to the bus: time was well respected, from pick up and during the drop offs too. Kudos for respecting our time. At least provide a bottle of water to the guests, as a complimentary that will go a long way in this experience. The guide and Ruth were very helpful & professional. I’d highly recommend!

great day out with a knowledgable/interesting guide.suggest getting the minibus to the upper lighthouse unless you are superfit and the walk down to the sign at the bottom of the cape but be warned some steps are a little tricky. the penguins will steal the show and pose in the funny ways that only penguins can - you only get an hour but its more than enough and totally worth it
