Deliciously informative
506anitat, October 2026
I will start with praising Elias, our guide. Rarely have a met a guide who combined such huge knowledge of history, botany, and geopolitics, and all this while chopping and grinding and heating. And with a great sense of humor. It was a sweltering afternoon, and clearly not one of the ingredients reacted as it was supposed too. Unflustered, Elias used the opportunity to explain variations, chocolate-making in different climates, etc. It was an educational experience of the first degree - and a delicious (if somewhat melty one) to boot. A wonderful way to learn about this important industry and its place in world history
Response from the operator · choco museo r Thank you so much for your kind review. We are happy you enjoyed our chocolate workshop with Elias. We are looking forward to seeing you again at ChocoMuseo Puerto Vallarta, maybe for a Mole Poblano workshop.

I would have liked it to be more hands on in terms of actually working with the raw materials. However, our guide was awesome and very knowledgeable! They made it a very fun experience.
