Rancho Capomo
Your journey begins with a scenic horseback ride along the river. All riders will dismount to embark on a hike towards the mountain and a beautiful waterfall. You'll traverse suspension bridges and ascend steps to reach the waterfall. Ample time is provided at the waterfall to refresh yourself in the river's cool waters. After visiting the waterfall, we'll ride up a gentle slope before descending. This downhill section involves a short, invigorating trot. Upon returning to the ranch, a delightful meal awaits you. Savor delicious fajitas or chicken, accompanied by freshly made guacamole and a homemade salsa. You'll also enjoy beans and rice. This is an unforgettable horseback adventure.

Awesome Day
951edwins, October 2026
Awesome experience. The horses were well trained and the fresh food was delicious. They did not skimp on the food or drinks. We took the tour during a cruise stop. My only suggestion is to change the pickup location. It was a long walk particularly when our ship was located on the far end of the dock and customs forces you to go through the duty free shopping area. We took a cab to the pick up location ( 30 min walk from the exit), but the driver dropped us off at the port taxi area.

horse back riding
Alexshcheg, September 2026
Overall, it was a very good experience and felt quite exclusive, as there were only two of us in the group. They picked us up in Puerto Vallarta, and our driver/guide was fun to talk to. He was funny and shared stories about his life and everyday life in the Mexican countryside. It was fascinating to learn about some of the local traditions, for example, he told us that people bring a goat to a coffee stand and milk it right there for customers, and we saw it. I wish we stopped at one of those stands to try home made coffee with fresh goat milk. The horseback ride to the waterfall took about 45 minutes. It was enjoyable and pretty much what we expected. The waterfall itself was beautiful, although quite crowded, probably because we visited on a Sunday. When we returned to the ranch, the staff prepared a nice traditional lunch just for the two of us and made sure we had plenty of margaritas. We also did a tasting of homemade tequila and liqueurs. They were very good—the tequila was especially smooth—but we thought the prices were a little high. Around $80 for a bottle of tequila felt like a lot, even though we really enjoyed it. We left $40 in tips: $20 for the cooks and bartender and $20 for our driver/guide. The only minor issue was finding the pickup location. Google Maps initially took us to the wrong place, but the host was very responsive by text and quickly helped us find the correct location. Overall, it was a fun experience and a nice way to spend half day outside Puerto Vallarta.

11/10 experience! A perfect vacation day
ahughan, September 2026
This is a 10 out of 10 experience. Booked it from the website without really knowing what it was, but could not be happier about the experience. From Beto picking us up near our hotel. The navigated tour through old town and up the mountains to the horses who were just fabulous to the food and drink and tequila and homemade pico and salsa. It was an absolutely perfect morning. Could not say more positive things about this experience.

Amazing experience!
Ivey_L, August 2026
Our driver/tour guide was so kind and very funny. The property itself is wonderfully maintained and the tour itself was absolutely amazing. The horses are amazingly trained and you get to ride them to a huge waterfall (the biggest and most beautiful I have ever seen) The food we were served was excellent. 10/10
