Stefano was a great tour guide! It was a nice way to see other towns (outside of Lecce) without having to rent a car. Loved the fact that they picked up and dropped off right at our hotel!

Beautiful introduction to the Salento

This tour was well worth the cost - Stefano was our very engaging driver and tour guide, and the historical information he gave us was extensive and very informative, went well beyond the usual "tourist" fare. I wanted to visit southernmost Puglia, and this tour did exactly as I had hoped, stopping in Otranto, Santa Maria di Luca, Gallipoli and the sweet little village of Galatina, where a church almost entirely hand painted by students of Giotto provides a stunning alternative to the many Baroque churches of the area. The views along the coast from Otranto to Luca were stunning, and the tour provided a visual overlay of what the base of the heel of the boot looks like geographically, which is exactly what I was looking for. Stefano directed us to a delicious seafood lunch waterside on the coast on the way from Otranto to Luca. The Otranto waterside, Luca lighthouse, Gallipoli waterside are all so beautiful. Ended the tour with a fellow traveler at an outdoor seaside terrace sipping a Salento coffee and admiring the endless clear blue water view. End of day Stefano dropped me off within a few minutes of my lodging (same for pick up in the morning). Highly recommend if you'd like an introduction to the Salento!

A well organised and informative tour of beautiful Puglian towns.

The day before the event I was contacted to confirm arrangements which was very reassuring. We were picked up from our accommodation as agreed and our small group of eight was on the road fairly quickly. The first stop at Galatina was lovely and we got to visit the beautiful church full of frescoes as well as the shop famous for pasticciotti and a little free time. Our guide Stefano was informative and friendly with the added bonus of having the information in both Italian and English. We then went to Otranto, a lovely seaside town and then travelled down the coast to Leuca where we had a lunch stop and the opportunity to take photos of Italys’ lands end. After that it was back to Gallipoli for more free time and then a shorter ride home. The tour is a great way to see places not easily reachable from Lecce without a car, particularly out of season as buses tend to be infrequent. The day was well planned and Stefano was a great guide. Highly recommended.
