Departing at 8:00 AM from your Ho Chi Minh City hotel, heading to the Mekong Delta by minivan or bus. During the 1.5-hour drive, pass by green rice fields before arriving at the beautiful rural My Tho. Along the way, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, the largest pagoda in the Mekong Delta. Continue to My Tho.

My Tho
Your morning trip continues from My Tho by motorized boat on the Tien River to the Tortoise islet. On the way, see the fishing port, boat-building workshops, and the Dragon, Phoenix, and Unicorn Islets. Walk into the village, visit a local fruit garden, and enjoy tropical fruit while listening to Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by islanders. Here you can also join the daily activities of the local people and take in the atmosphere of this beautiful natural countryside. Visit the bee house and take pictures with pythons. Lunch will be served in the heart of the orchard garden. The boat cruise will lead you through Bao Dinh canal, entering Ben Tre province.

Ben Tre
Entering Ben Tre province, known as “the land of coconuts.” See a typical agricultural model called “Garden – Pond – Cage,” before visiting the coconut candy-making shop. Next, enjoy a rowing boat trip on a small canal, fully covered by the shade of the water coconut trees. After your boat ride, take an electric car around the island before returning to the bus. You will arrive back in Ho Chi Minh City at around 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

The whole experience is interesting, especially the part where we can use variety modes of transport to travel and feed the crocodiles. It is perfect if you just arrived in Vietnam for the first time. Hannah is very informative during the trip. My kid feels safe and enjoys the experience.

Our tour was amazing!! We got to pluck our own coconuts, tried fruits unique to the region with hot tea and had a local cuisine for lunch.
