IMPORTANT PICK-UP INFORMATION: Tour pick-ups begin up to 45 minutes before the scheduled tour start time. Your specific pick-up time will be determined by your hotel's location. Upon booking, America's Hub World Tours will send a ticket via email, detailing your 15-minute pick-up window. Please be ready at your hotel lobby doors at the start of this window and look for a Sprinter van. Your Tour Guide will arrive within this 15-minute window.

Acknowledgement of Safety Briefing: Upon boarding and exiting the vehicle, please use a three-point stance for stability.

Traffic and Transportation Safety: Exercise caution at intersections, utilize pedestrian crosswalks whenever feasible, and always wear your seatbelt in the tour vehicle.

Health and Hydration: Tours can be physically demanding. Ensure you stay hydrated and carry any necessary personal medications, planning for breaks as needed.

What to Do if Lost: Should you become separated from the group, remain calm. Stop walking and wait in your current location. Contact our tour company phone number. For emergencies, dial 911.

Walking on Uneven Terrain: Employ the following techniques: Scan the path ahead, taking small, deliberate steps with your entire foot placed flat. Proceed slowly on both uphill and downhill sections.

Safety & Hazards: Be aware of wet rocks, moss, and mud, as they can be very slippery; walk around them if possible. Never run, as speed increases the risk of trips and ankle sprains.

Snow & Ice: Do not cross in front of snow removal equipment; it is safer to cross behind. Exercise extreme caution when entering and exiting vehicles, as warm soles on compact snow or ice heighten the risk of slips and falls; use the vehicle for support. Watch for black ice, wet floors/stairways, and potential falling hazards like icicles or snow/ice from roofs and trees. Remove Yaktrax before driving or entering buildings, as they are unsafe on carpet, tile, stone, or ceramic surfaces.

Plants and Animals: Avoid touching any plants or animals, as this can be hazardous to both you and them. Animals may carry germs and diseases, and plants can cause rashes or allergic reactions. Do not approach or follow wildlife for a closer look; observe them from a distance to avoid disturbing their natural behavior. You are too close if your presence causes wildlife to alter their normal habits.

Water: Never drink untreated water from natural sources. Even clear streams can harbor dangerous bacteria, viruses, and parasites like Giardia. Animal activity upstream can introduce unseen contaminants, and drinking such water can lead to severe diarrhea, vomiting, and dehydration.
