Skagway features three main docks. Please make your way directly to the greeting area at your arrival point. Your guide will be easily identifiable, holding a Rainbow Glacier Adventures sign featuring a prominent rainbow logo. Should you not see your guide immediately, please wait patiently at the greeting area. Do not walk towards the town.
Railroad Dock (Tender or Shuttle Dock): If arriving via tender, proceed up the ramp and wait near the 'Small Boat Harbor' sign. If arriving by shuttle bus, remain at the designated shuttle drop-off area.
Broadway Dock: Walk to the end of the pier, in front of your ship, close to where the train tracks begin.
Ore Dock: Ascend the ramp and pass through security to reach the greeting area.
Hotel & B&B Guests: Your guide will meet you directly in front of your lodging. Please look for the Rainbow Glacier Adventures vehicle.
IMPORTANT ADVISORY: Please refrain from using Google Maps or Apple Maps, or any map links provided by Viator, as these may direct you to an incorrect location. We provide pickup services at the bus loading area closest to your ship.
PASSPORT REQUIREMENT: A valid passport is mandatory for boarding the tour vehicle. VISAS: Visas are only necessary if your country of origin requires one to enter Canada.
Kindly note that our tours operate on a strict schedule and cannot accommodate late arrivals.
Valid passports are essential for crossing the US/Canadian border. Ensure you have your passport with you, as we cannot return to the ship for forgotten documents.
No refunds will be issued for forgotten passports.
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for this excursion.
Hotel pickups may begin before the stated tour time.
Please be aware that this tour does not involve a train ride.
If your ship is docked at the RAILROAD Dock (adjacent to the rock cliff with the landslide), you will either take a shuttle bus or a tender (small boat) from your ship to meet your guide. Tendered guests will disembark and proceed up the ramp to meet the guide. Guests arriving by shuttle will find the guide waiting at the Ship Shuttle drop-off area. In either case, your guide will be holding a Rainbow Glacier Adventures sign.
If your ship is docked at the BROADWAY Dock (centrally located in town), please walk to the designated greeting area at the end of the pier.
If your ship is docked at the ORE Dock, proceed across the wooden pier to the greeting area.
Once your guide has confirmed all members of your group are present, they will escort you to the tour vehicle. If you do not see your guide immediately, please remain at the greeting area and wait. Do not proceed towards town.
For Hotel and B&B Guests: The tour departs from directly in front of your accommodation. Please look for the van displaying the Rainbow Glacier Adventures logo.
