Tall Tales, Scottish Trails, and a Tour Guide to Remember
Mobile206875, October 2026
First time in Scotland and I am blown away by the amazing experience. (Pun intended since I was almost blown away at one of the sites with the high winds 😂) Colin definitely made this trip one to remember. He is so nice and friendly- tells really good, funny stories and helps make the best out of the trip. He shares a lot of interesting stories and Scottish history. I will definitely be looking forward to booking another tour with the Hairy Coo and Colin as the tour guide.

Amazing 3 days Tour
Eledestrooooo, October 2026
I couldn’t be happier about my choice. I found out about The Hairy Coo through socials and booked right away. The thing that stuck with me as a solo traveler were the comments about the guides. Colin was extremely skilled throughout all the roads and journey but most importantly he was able to get everyone involved and his knowledge, his jokes and stories really made it a great experience. He was so enthusiastic about us having a good time.
The stops are well managed and other than the places reachable only by hike I feel like I’ve seen the best of the Highlands. I highly recommend the tour!

Incredible tour!!

I am so glad I booked this tour! We did and saw so much, so you definitely get your money’s worth. Our guide, Colin, was also incredible. He had a good laugh with us, provided history, talked about Scottish culture, and added to the experience. The stops ranged from 10 min to an hour or so, depending on where the stop was. I know if I tried to fit in all the places we went by myself, I never would have seen as much as we did. The Isle of Skye was my absolute favorite! Be prepared for Scotland’s lovely winds and rain!
I was a solo traveler and also met so many wonderful people on this tour. Definitely would recommend (plus the highlands were so breathtaking, I’m still in awe!).
