Great experience in Iceland
mikepQ9838QY, October 2026
Our guide Hjaiti was excellent!! He was very knowledgeable about Iceland and the tour area. He is an excellent driver even in the snow and wind. He was also able to adjust our itinerary when the weather turned bad.

5 Stars for Hjalti!
erincW3739ZD, October 2026
We had the best experience with Hjalti and Artic Adventures. Hjalti did such a good job navigating and adjusting where necessary to make sure we could do everything on our tour even when inclement weather happened (which it undoubtedly will). Having an Icelandic tour guide who clearly had a deep appreciation for Iceland's history and culture was phenomenal. The stops throughout the tour were great examples of what you can see and do in Iceland. I would recommend this tour to everyone, especially with Hjalti as your guide.

Hjalti was our guide and was very knowledgeable about the entire country. He always kept us informed about what we were seeing. Also, with very bad weather coming into the area he made adjustments to our tour to ensure we still had a great experience and was safe !
I would recommend him to anyone taking this tour. He made the tour very memorable.

First visit to Iceland
Liz201555, October 2026
Excellent introduction to Iceland - exactly what we were looking for.
Tour covered a lot of ground and activities including hike to ice cave, whale watching and lagoon visit.
Small friendly group - only nine in total.
Long journeys in the minibus, but this was not an issue as we were able to admire the spectacular scenery. Tour guide ensured plenty of stops were factored in.
The tour guide, Margrét, was knowledgeable and educated us on Icelandic history and folklore. And an excellent driver.
Of course the weather changes rapidly in Iceland and food/drink is expensive. However we had five days of good weather and remember the excellent tap water is free.
Would recommend to anyone visiting Iceland for the first time.

Must do 10/10 - Iceland rocks 🤘🏻
H6864DLjulial, October 2026
Best money I have ever spent in my life. Iceland is the most picturesque place I’ve ever been in my life. Our tour guide Magnus was incredibly knowledgeable about everything Iceland while being an exceptional and engaging story teller. He also made some additional stops to places that couldn’t be missed and were actually the highlight of the tour! Super well organised, entertaining and an experience I will never forget. So great for solo female travellers!
Response from the operator · Aliona Baklanova Hi Julia, good to hear this. 10/10 with additional stops that became the best part is a guide going beyond the schedule and nailing it. Solo female travelers hearing this will appreciate knowing the experience felt safe, well organized, and fun.
