Discover the true origin of paella in Valencia with this hands-on cooking class. Learn the authentic recipe, passed down through generations of local families, focusing on traditional meat and vegetable preparation.
Your culinary journey begins at Ruzafa Market, a vibrant local spot for fresh ingredients, offering a more authentic experience than the crowded Central Market. In our intimate workshop setting, you'll uncover the secrets to achieving the perfect 'socarrat' (crispy rice bottom), learn about the unique Albufera rice from Valencia's own fields, and master the art of balancing saffron.
While your paella is simmering, engage in a sangría-making session and savor traditional tapas. The experience culminates in a delightful meal where you'll enjoy your homemade paella, accompanied by local wine, salad, mistela, and a homemade dessert.

Following our market exploration, we will take an 8-minute walk to our kitchen for a sangría workshop. The chef will greet us with delightful tapas, accompanied by sangría, beer, and water.
