We begin at the local market, the most crucial phase of our culinary journey. Here, you'll be guided on how to select quality ingredients, focusing on "Zero Kilometer" products and fresh seasonal produce. We'll explore the various ways these ingredients can be used in the kitchen.
Back at the kitchen, all participants will be actively involved in preparing authentic Sicilian recipes. We'll recreate this experience in a home-style setting, true to Sicilian tradition. Together, we'll craft appetizers, first courses, and second courses with a warm, family atmosphere, all while enjoying a breathtaking view!
Once the preparation is complete, you'll take your seats to enjoy the delicious meal you've helped create, accompanied by two local homemade wines.
As a memento, participants will receive a special gift along with the recipes from the lesson.

Cooking class with Chef Massimo was unforgettable. There was a group of 14 of us. He and his staff were wonderful. From making pasta and all the fixings from scratch to preparing Seabass, chef did a great job of instructing and helping us prepare our meal while injecting his sense of humor. The meal was to die for. Set on a beautiful table. He met us downtown where our bus dropped us off and locked us to his house where the meal was prepared.. What a view there was. All together we were there approximately 3 1/2 to 4 hours. A good time was had by all. Thank you Chef once again.

Massimo is very knowledgeable and has good English he told us lots about Sicilian cooking and what to watch out for in restaurants. The group was 16 we all got a chance to prepare parts of the three starters and two main courses. We had Prosecco before lunch and white and red wine withe meal I initially thought it was a bit pricey but was well worth the money. I would love to come to another class with massimo at a different time of year when other foods are in season. He checked for allergies and dietary restrictions. He lives down the hill from Taormina we walked down to casaisola. He arranged taxis for some of the other guests. His staff were pleasant also

The time spent cooking at Massimo's house was phenomenal. The views from his kitchen are breathtaking. He has a wonderful demeanor and is so passionate about preparing food with a big, constant smile. With other friends on our tour we prepared fresh pasta, tomato pesto, sea bass, and, best of all, stuffed zucchini flowers. Mouthwatering! It was an unforgettable experience.

My husband and I had an amazing experience with Massimo. It’s hard to find an authentic Sicilian experience in Taormina as it’s quite touristy, but this fit the bill!
It was great to start off in the markets and have Massimo educate us on how to pick the best fresh, local produce. We learned a lot.
The cooking was a lot of fun and the food was absolutely delicious, definitely the best we had in Italy. We did 6 countries in Europe over a month, and this was our favourite activity of the entire trip.
Highly recommend!! And can’t wait to try the recipes at home. Thank you Massimo :)
