Activity itinerary

4-hour Culinary Experience 4 h Join Chef Mimmo Siciliano for an authentic culinary experience in Taormina! Meet your chef and begin your day with a visit to a small local market in Taormina. Here, you'll discover fresh, seasonal ingredients amidst the vibrant colors and aromas of Sicily. You'll learn about the products that will be used in the cooking class and experience the true local atmosphere. Following the market visit, enjoy a transfer (included in the price) to "Ahoy Bistrò Siciliano" in Giardini Naxos. This charming seaside restaurant is located just 15 minutes from the meeting point and offers stunning views of the beautiful Bay of Naxos. During the experience, you'll indulge in a tasting of local wines, accompanied by focaccia, Sicilian cured meats, and cheeses. Under the chef's expert guidance, you will personally prepare three traditional Sicilian dishes: - An appetizer to start your meal. - A fresh fish dish, showcasing the local catch. - Six distinct types of fresh pasta, including the iconic Pasta alla Norma, featuring eggplant and Pachino cherry tomatoes. Discover Sicily through its unique flavors – from the rich scent of eggplants and the taste of fresh seafood to the briny capers from the Aeolian Islands and olives grown in fertile volcanic soil. After the cooking session, you'll sit down to enjoy the delicious meal you've prepared, just steps away from the beach and the sea. To conclude your meal on a sweet note, savor mini Sicilian cannoli served with a glass of limoncello. At the end of the experience, you will be transferred back to the original meeting point.

Enjoyable
Laurel_C, October 2026
There was alot of food and it was Delicious. Learned how to make a few dishes and got experience making pasta from scratch which was great. One thing that would make it better would be to have less people in the class. There were a total of 16 people in the class. It was difficult to hear everything that the chef was saying. It was also tough to see all the demonstrations.
