I just returned from our vacation in Sicily. One of the tours we booked and was looking forward to was the Godfather w/Pasta Lunch Tour.
Our tour was wonderful, personable, knowledgeable and made the experience fun.
We were, however, extremely disappointed that we were unable to go to the top of the mountain to see the church where Michael C and Appalonnia were married because of how steep the climb would be. We were told we could rent a tuk-tuk at an additional cost. It did not state in your details .Nor we did visit Villa Corleone.
I am now realizing that Bar Vitelli was steps from us in the center of Savoca. We were not made aware of it and we did not go in which was part of the tour/cost.
I wrote to your company the other day without receiving a response.
The tour cost me $1,1,83.26. Please understand that we were displeased with this tour because of not seeing 2 of the biggest draws of the tour. I am hereby requesting a refund of at least $400. I would appreciate a response soonest.

Thank you so much for being with us on Godfather tour. We are very happy that you enjoyed the tour and appreciated how wonderful and knowledgeable is our guide.
However, we are very sorry and we regret for the disappointments mentioned. We suggest reading carefully the description of the tour before booking it.
1. Villa Corleone is located in another area/town and not included in the tour. We visit Savoca and Forza d’Agro.
2. Church of Santa Lucia, where Michael Corleone married Apollonia, is in Savoca and we always visit it. The climb is not so much steep and takes just 5 mins at longest. Anyway in rarely cases for guests with limited physical abilities our guide suggest a tuk-tuk if needed.
3. Drinks or snacks in Bar Vitelli are not inlcuded in tour cost and it is clearly stated in description. However the guide always stops in front of the bar for some storytelling and photos. It is not possible not to notice the bar as it is on the main square which is very small and located directly at the entrance to the town. Everyone can go inside and take some drinks if there are free places available.
Hope this clarifies. And hope we will meet you again in Sicily and offer other wonderful experiences!

We are fans of the Godfather movies and so was Daniele our guide. It was a pleasant drive into the mountains to see the filing sites. They look just like they did in the movie from 1972. Cafe Vitelli was shrouded in ivy and is easy to miss. :(

However I chose this tour as it was billed as a comparison with real life mafia and no information was provided on the history and current status of real mafia activities despite asking the guide about this.

The tour and tour guide were a little lackluster. There was very little guiding. It was more about the transportation to and from the locations. The tour guide was. Speaking mostly to the two guests sitting up front with him. When others asked questions he couldn’t hear them and/or answered very quickly, not providing much information. We enjoyed the day but it wasn’t terribly informative and was a lot of money for what we received. With that said, the lunch was lovely and the guests on the tour were very nice.
