A great experience cycling between the vineyards

Having visited the left bank the day before, also with Rustic Vines, this was our opportunity to learn about the right bank - and the addition of e-bikes to travel between locations was a great one. The tour would anyway have been interesting and the tastings generous but it was a great experience to cycle between the vineyards.

We have a beautiful day biking through the Pomerol and St. Emilion AVAs, with stops at two different chateau. Wonderful charcuterie, cheese and fruit group picnic lunch. Walking tour of St. Emilion and visit to wine merchant for a final tasting. E-bikes made the journey easy.

Learned a lot and had fun!

Our guide Jorens was very knowledgable and enthusiastic, which made the trip all that much better! The tour itself is very heavily focused on wine and less on the town and history of St. Emillion (we only spent 30-45mins sightseeing in the town itself), which is not a bad thing but would be good to know. All the guides at each wine estate and wine merchat were also amazing, especially our guide at Moncet. There was no pressure to purchase but we ended up finding a few bottles we liked. Also as a side note, a couple in our group had to catch a train in Bordeaux and Jorens was able to get them to the station without much stress - great job accomodating everyone! Would recommend!
