For many activities, Viator lets you secure your place without paying straight away. The option appears below the availability button on the Viator page.
- You register a bank card. Viator checks the card with an authorisation of 1 unit of the chosen currency (for example, €1), with no deposit.
- Viator sends you a reminder 5 days before the activity.
- Full payment is taken between 2 and 9 days before the date, depending on the activity.
- You receive your ticket once full payment has been made.
Important
This option is not available for activities more than 12 months away or less than 3 days away: in these cases, you pay immediately.
